What is a Clean Out Service?
After an estate sale, inevitably, there will be some unsold items. The goal for the family and for the company is that there are very few items remaining. Depending on customer turnout, weather, volume of goods and other unforeseen circumstances, sometimes there will be more than a few items left over. If those items are clothing, costume jewelry, and a few books, it is pretty easy for the owner to dispose of the unsold possessions. This is provided if the volume is small.
How We Help With Clean-Outs?
This is where New Life Estate Sales clean out services shine. Clean out services include removing all unsold items and disposing of them. That fee is dependent upon the volume, the weight, the number of truck loads and the distance to the destination, dump or charitable organization.
New Life Estate Sales specifically works with companies that prefer to donate goods to charitable organizations. Our goal with a clean out is to rehome as many items as possible.
Often, this is a great solution, as the greater value in liquidation is the actual home that is to be sold. Clean out services not only off load the leftovers, but they also sweep the floors, vacuum the carpet and completely remove everything so that the property is ready for the next step.
Potential Blow-Out Sale
Clean out services cost the client additional money. It is worth the money to be able to move on and put the home on the market. But still, it is an additional cost. Oftentimes, if there is a BUNCH left over, we can engage in what we call a blow-out sale. Just as it sounds it is a sale with steep discounts that we hold on Monday or Tuesday which is marketed heavily for a well visited turnout. The goal of the blow-out sale is to sell everything. This means we are also accepting negotiations that day to ensure we clear as much out as possible.
